Babaloo Mandel

Marc Babaloo Mandel is an American screenwriter. After doing television episodes, he also began writing for feature films. He and longtime writing partner Lowell Ganz have penned numerous highprofile movies, including Splash , Parenthood , City Slickers and A League of Their Own .

Mandel was born in New York City, the son of a taxi driver. He attended the New York Institute of Technology, before leaving for Hollywood in 1972.
